I quit my job at a substance abuse treatment center to devote everything I have to this, the safety, well-being, and long-term sobriety of every man who calls Hensley House home.

I’m a person in long-term recovery myself. I lived in sober living for a year after rehab, managed a home for another year, and then lived at Hensley House for two more years when I opened it. That’s four full years under the same kind of roof our residents live under, I’ve seen it all. I know sober living inside and out: the do’s, the don’ts, what works, and what doesn’t.

We’re coming up on ten years of experience, and these houses run like Swiss watches. We’re literally the highest-rated sober living home in Texas.

I hand-pick and personally train every house manager, and together we’ve built something special. Every detail of Hensley House has been designed, tested, and refined over and over again to make it the best sober living experience possible, and I never stop improving it.

This is my calling. My passion. And I’m damn good at it.
